Nano-armor and The World of Modernized Warfare

Say Hello to the Future!!

From Crysis: A Game Quite Close to Reality

Yes, nanotechnology is the future of Science. It is possibly the next building block our researchers are trying to find. It shall change the entire way of life whether it be enhanced armor, modernized warfare or the world of technology.

How to Harness Nanotechnology Potential?

Nanotechnology in military has great applications. It would yield better performance and greater combat abilities for the soldiers. Military nanotechnology would not only help built better weapons but also assist in the defence categories; giving soldiers more strength and greater impact resistance. Nanotechnology in military can already be seen in science fiction movies depicting a slice of our near future. The concept of powered exoskeleton is well defined. Hollywood movies similar to Iron Man and Avatar have showed briefly how the future can turn out to be. The introduction of nanotechnology in military would not only allow manufacturing of light weight armour and weapons but would also assist in better sound suppressors leading to quitter weapons. The modern generation plastics and composites have opened new doors to warfare. Kevlar is such an invention. The US military is working towards a program so called as the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (TALOS) program.

From Fiction to Reality

Crysis is a first person shooter game in which the armour is of critical importance. It enhances once abilities as per the mode defined by the user. It allows better movability, more precision and dynamic combat strength; focusing mainly on armour, strength and speed. The so called ‘Man amplifier’ is not new. It is just getting better by the day. As we improve in the world of materials, we are fine tuning our selection. Allowing us to design stuff which seemed only science fiction up till now. Nanotechnology lessons in crisis indicate that such a performance upgrade can really change the game. It would let us do beyond human imagination, allowing people to do more multitasking and achieve hard to do goals. Nanotechnology lessons in crisis are a benchmark to strategic combat. It is an example to what warfare can be like if such an aid is given to the local soldier. Military nanotechnology is beginning to take shape now. Carbon fibres have allowed us to reach us to the core. The Nano scale. Allowing us to design stuff atom by atom. Allowing us to cover every little detail. Getting our product more dynamic. The armour is the basis. Designing at the Nano scale ensures that the product is extremely light weight and combat resistant. The Nano bonding ensures that it is flexible, allowing greater movability and control. A source of power as described in the game would allow more warfare considerations. The tiny Nano particles would tingle close together in a very compact volume protecting the one wearing it. Defending against every bullet shot at him. Preventing every bruise possible. All this and more, letting the soldier fight carefree in the most hostile environments where no man and ever imagined before to enter and make his mark.

From Gizmodo: Carrying Enhanced Weighs are now POSSIBLE!!

Military nanotechnology research indicates fast growth and a promising future ahead. It is this military nanotechnology research that has made it all possible. Building a better armour bit by bit. Incorporating the latest in technology from around the globe. The US Navy has already incorporated a lot to this external super human exoskeleton. With the fast growing Nanosciences, the game-play of Crysis would soon become a reality!
